What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are individual eyelashes applied to your own eyelashes, one by one to enhance and lengthen your own lashes. The results are longer, thicker, natural looking lashes.

There are many different looks that you can achieve too, from natural to drammatic lashes - a favourite of celebrities such as Cheryl Cole.

How long will my eyelash extensions last?

As the extensions are applied to an individual natural lash, the extensions last as long as your own natural lashes. Natural lashes have a growth cycle of approximately 90 days. We apply the extensions to mid-cycle lashes. We naturally shed about 2-5 eyelashes each day, so like nail enhancements, it is necessary to have maintainence procedures (infills) every few weeks to keep your lashes looking full and thick.

How often do I have to have to have my lashes maintained?

The length of time that you need to leave between appointments is dependent on how well you look after your extensions. Clients new to lash extensions, may wish to come every 2-3 weeks. More experienced clients who have been wearing lashes for a number of months, can have maintainence infills every 3-5 weeks.

Are lash extensions suitable for everyone?

In short, no. If you have any kind of eye infection we would not be able to book an appointment for you until your infection had been treated and cleared for at least 2 weeks. Further details of conditions which may mean that you are not suitable are available here.
